Greater Nebraska Medical & Surgical 服务 history begins in the late 1970s. Drs. 雷蒙德·奥尔森, 唐纳德·威尔金森(Donald Wilkinson)和詹姆斯·贝恩(James Bane)从该县租赁了房产，并于1976年完成了Box Butte医疗中心的建筑, just north of the newly finished Box Butte General Hospital.
The practice and building were purchased by Box Butte General Hospital in 1990, with the Box Butte Medical Center practice renamed the Sandhills Family Center in 1997.
2008年1月, BBGH acquired the practice of Cody Medical Associates, 将诊所的所有办公人员和医疗服务提供者整合到Sandhills家庭中心.
